At Future Super, we’re changing the way super is done. By giving people a chance to invest their super in companies that drive positive social and environmental change, we show people the power money has to create a better world.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a passionate Senior Product Designer to help create digital products that connect our members with the power of their money.

Role background

Step-changing Future Super’s end-to-end member experience, including our suite of member-facing digital products, is now the highest-priority initiative in our business. We will be re-designing and re-building our key digital products over the next 6-9 months, including our website, membership portal, and join form.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer for a 6 month, full-time contract to drive the design and functionality of these products, as well as ensure that our brand is developed and rolled out consistently across our digital product suite. In this role, you will get to set the creative direction of the business, play across our full suite of digital products, and have a lot of scope to shape the role.

You’ll be joining the cross-functional member experience team, reporting to the Member Experience Strategist, and working closely with our Technology, Member Advocacy, Marketing, and Impact Investing teams.

What you’ll be doing

The two core components of the role are Product Design / User Experience and Brand Development:

Product Design and User Experience

You’ll be the key driver of process, design and user experience across the re-building of our key digital products. You’ll have scope to play across our website, membership portal, join form…and we are open to new ideas! You’ll be responsible for all interactions across the member journey, including onboarding, account servicing, engagement and referral.

Brand Development

In collaboration with our marketing team, you’ll help develop and evolve Future Super’s brand (visuals, voice and behaviours), taking ownership of the visual principles and rolling them out across our digital products.

What we’re looking for:

An ambitious mid-senior level product designer with a passion for beautiful digital products, user experience, and brand. This will include:

  • 5-7+ years of experience
  • Deep expertise in designing products which deliver extraordinary user experience
  • Keen interest in brand
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work with cross-functional teams and to distil and react to various points of feedback
  • Excellent collaboration skills, and ability to constructively direct action within teams
  • Strong communication skills – you love to break down and simplify complex problems and you are confident to present to mixed audiences
  • Ability to demonstrate the process, outcomes and delivery from past work
  • Belief in Future Super’s mission and passionate about moving Australia’s capital out of fossil-fuels
